Kindergarten is a year for success! Our kindergarten scholars will become readers while focusing on topics that catch their interest. We will become mathematicians, scientists, and authors in our daily learning.
This website is designed to keep my parents and students informed of what is going on in our learning environment.

Lunch Schedule
We have lunch at 10:50 everyday. Lunch is 30 minutes long.
In Kindergarten, children will not be permitted to carry money to the cafeteria individually. All payments for lunch or milk must be placed in a zip-lock bag in the child’s folder. Be sure to include the child’s name, what the payment is for (“lunch, 5 days”, or “milk, one day”, etc.), and any special instructions. I will check folders every day and send any payments to the cafeteria to be entered into your child’s food service account. Then your child can use his/her individual card to purchase whatever you have selected.
I will appreciate as many long-term lunch/milk purchases as possible – collecting money can be a time-consuming business in kindergarten!
Lunches cost $3.00 per day. You may pre-pay for a number of days by check or on line. Please see the Food Services webpage for specific info on payment options for purchasing lunch.
Children will choose their lunch at the start of the school day and their choices will be sent to the cafeteria. Please discuss the options with your child each day. It may be helpful, if not purchasing lunch to clearly label lunch in one bag and snack in another to avoid confusion. We will be eating lunch first each day and we will be having snack in the afternoon.
Specials Schedule
Monday- Computers and Spanish
Tuesday- Art and Computers
Wednesday- Library
Thursday- Music
Friday- Physical Education
Please remember to bring your library book to school every Wednesday and to wear sneakers to school every Friday.
Homework Procedure- Homework is sent home every Friday in the Behavior Folder and it is due back in the Behavior Folder the following Friday. Please make sure you are reading to your child EVERY night! Reading to your child is the most important thing you can do to ensure their academic success!
Snack Time
We will have a working snack during school each day. Please remember to pack your child a healthy snack for this time of the day. Snack should be a healthy choice and any utensils needed to eat the snack needs to be packed, as well. However, it can be very difficult and messy for students to eat a snack that needs a spoon during a working snack.
